Energise health club for women

Brooks Parade, 5 Green Ln, Ilford IG3 9RT, UK – 020 3441 7373

Rabia, the beautician does the most relaxing facials. She is definitely the best I've been to, and I've been to quite a few! There's a lady who works at the beauty lounge on Tuesdays whose massages can instantly put you to sleep. I would highly recommend. I'm a regular at this place and can't recommend it enough. As for the gym- it's good.

The members and staff are always very polite and welcoming, and i enjoy attending. It is small but there is enough equipment to still endure a good workout.

The Gym Dagenham

Dagenham Leisure Park, Cook Road, Dagenham RM9 6UQ, UK – 0330 055 5916

The gym itself is not bad at all. You will find a lot of useful machines. The reason of why I am giving only three stars is because some of the gym members don't really know how to behave when it comes to dealing with gym manners. On numerous occasions males asked for the machine even that I used it just for a second, or didn't even start my workout. The other technique that they are using to get the machine, is standing next to the person that is working out and staring, which is very intimidating... The Gym should remind everyone the gym etiquette and put some reminder about how to approach others. Also the area upstairs is preoccupied by male members, which gives them the impression that the area is only designed for them.I don't have any problem with that until some guys making me feel like I should rather use the downstairs area.

It is a really large gym open 24 hours with free parking directly outside. They hold regular classes here and have most of the exercise machines you will need to get or maintain fitness. As the classes are on the ground floor, it can get busy and noisy before, during and after classes but the first floor is much quieter and also has a large free weights area. I'm very surprised there are only 2 stepper machines in the whole gym so that would be my only grumble.

Golds Gym

Sterling Industrial Estate, Rainham Road South, Dagenham RM10 8TX, UK – 020 8593 5000

The best gym ever. It has everything sauna, steam, Jacuzzi, pool and classes. I lovr the atmosphere of this gym.

Been with this gym for about a year and a half now. Had no problems so far, but it would be good if they were opened 24 hours a day.
